Required Skills:
- Experience operating presses and related shop equipment
- Ability to perform die setups and program presses (2-4 piece setups)
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to read blueprints and work with tight tolerances
- Strong attention to safety protocols and safety awareness
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with metal stamping or automotive manufacturing
- Experience using band saws, metal shears, or die grinders
- Ability to identify materials accurately based on work orders and tags
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, press operation, or metal stamping environment preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
Other Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts, including heavy lifting and bending
- Reliable attendance history and adherence to safety standards
