Customer Service Administrator – Shipping
Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Administrator – Shipping, where your organizational and communication skills will ensure the seamless movement of orders in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will be vital in coordinating with carriers, warehouse teams, and internal departments to process shipments accurately and on time, maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in SAP, WMS, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of distribution and shipping processes
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in high-volume distribution centers
- Familiarity with carrier coordination and transportation scheduling
- Background in inventory management and shipment documentation
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (3 years related experience) or 2 years of post-secondary education with 1 year of experience
- Associate degree or vocational certification preferred
Other Requirements:
- Support a strong safety culture and promote teamwork within the distribution center
- Ability to resolve shipping, inventory, and transportation issues efficiently
- Willingness to coordinate inbound and outbound activities across multiple facilities
