Description:
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE CONSTRUCTION AND/ OR MANUAL LABOR EXPEREINCE.
CANDIDAE WTILL NEED TO WORK LONG HOURS, HEAVY LOADS, REPETITIVE MOTION, AND WORKING IN TOUGH CONDIDTIONS LIKE HEAT, COLD OR RAIN.
THIS IS PHYSICALLY DEMANDING WORK THAT MAINLY USES YOUR BODY – YOUR STRENGH, ENDURANCE AND COORDINATION.
The Pallet Repair/Pallet Builder builds wooden pallets from recycled materials, deconstructed pallets and/or lumber. In some locations they may also repair pallets by taking damaged pallets sent from our customers and return them to service-ready condition, before consolidating and shipping them back to the customer.
Saturdays required during busy season
Safety/steel toed footwear is mandatory
Must be comfortable operating tools used to complete repairs, including but not limited to:
*Nail gun
*Manual & electric saws
*Hammer
*Wire brushes
*Pneumatic tools
Responsibilities and Expectations:
Must be accountable for achieving 48forty results while maintaining 48forty?s core values and safety standards
Ability to complete all production paperwork with accuracy
Utilize appropriate tools and methods to build pallets
Utilize appropriate tools and methods to return damaged pallets to service-ready condition
Communicate effectively with Production Supervisors, Assistant Plant Manager, and Plant
